Ahsoka Tano is a fan favorite from the 'Star Wars' canon.

In the Star Wars universe (pun intended), Ahsoka Tano is the first lead female Jedi, and she made her debut in the 2008 animated film Clone Wars. During that film installment, Ahsoka was voiced by actress Ashley Eckstein, and she commanded the 501st Legion.

To say that Ahsoka is a fan favorite is an understatement — CNBC reported in 2019 that collectibles of Ahsoka were among the highest-selling and in-demand ones in the Star Wars canon.

Will Ahsoka be in 'The Mandalorian'?

For months, there have been rumors that Disney+ had hired Rosario Dawson to play Ahsoka Tano for The Mandalorian.

While multiple outlets confirmed the news, Rosario herself played coy with regards to the casting rumors.

"That's not confirmed yet but when that happens, I will be very happy," the actress told Variety about the show back in March of 2020. "I'm very excited for that to be confirmed at some point."

Following the release of three episodes of Season 3, fans have yet to spot the character in The Mandalorian. But, it does appear as if the character might make her debut in the fourth episode, aka Chapter 12.

In "The Heiress," which is the third episode of The Mandalorian Season 2, the new character, Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff), tells Mando to bring Baby Yoda to Ahsoka because they will be safe there.

"Take the foundling to the city of Calodan on the forest planet of Corvus," Bo-Katan says on the show. "There, you will find Ahsoka Tano. Tell her you were sent by Bo-Katan."

While Ahsoka hasn't made an on-screen appearance yet, fans are suspecting that she will be a big part of the fourth episode, which drops on Nov. 20.

Assuming the character does appear on The Mandalorian, it will be the first time she has been portrayed in a live-action Star Wars franchise.

Viewers will have to tune in to the next episode of The Mandalorian for official confirmation about whether or not Ahsoka shows up.

New episodes of The Mandalorian are released on Fridays on Disney+.
