As Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette comes to a close, it seems as though reality TV is standing still for a moment. However, that moment of stillness is fleeting, with the premier of Bachelor in Paradise coming up on Monday, August 5.
A trailer for Season 6 of the spin-off show was recently released, and some of the scenes look epic. Drinks, tears, and most importantly, some fights are involved, so grab that glass of rosé, watch the official trailer, and mentally prepare yourself for a wild beach vacation.
As you can see, about a minute and 45 seconds into the trailer for this upcoming BIP season, people start to yell, and you see someone (who appears to be one of the guys) running. It isn't quite clear who the person is, but it looks like security or police are chasing after him.
The perpetrator is yelling profanities, onlookers are clearly upset, and someone is eventually tackled to the ground.
So, what happened?
Who gets into a fight on Bachelor in Paradise... and why?
According to some spoilers from Reality Steve, there is a physical altercation right before the second rose ceremony.
Apparently, Christian Estrada from Becca Kufrin's Bachelorette season is hanging out with Nicole Lopez-Alvar from Colton Underwood’s Bachelor season. Apparently, Christian brought a piñata with him to the cocktail party, when he "borrows Nicole for a second," as they say.
While the two are conversing, per Reality Steve, Clay Harbor (also from Becca's season) tries to steal her away, but Christian won't let him.
Clay goes back to gossip about it with the other guys, and this apparently bothers the infamously poor tempered Jordan Kimball. While he and Christian didn't seem to have any animosity toward each other after Becca's season, this ignites some fire within Jordan.
They begin to argue, and Jordan goes to toss Christian's piñata in the ocean (sound familiar? See: Jenna Cooper and Jordan's stuffed dog drama LOL).
Anyway, Christian goes to grab Jordan's arm, and according to Reality Steve, Jordan responds by pushing him to the ground. This is what fans saw in the teaser.
Other male contestants attempt to break it up before security takes the reins and ends it.
According to spoilers from The Inquisitr, Chris Harrison will apparently get involved, and eliminate both Jordan and Christian. While it would have been nice for Jordan to find love after his engagement gone wrong last season, his emotions — once again — got the best of him.
Let's be honest: cramming a bunch of sexually frustrated single men on an island with a surplus of alcohol often tends to result in fights... so it should come as no surprise that an altercation is going to break out on this upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise.
It's little disappointing that two contestants might be sent home as a result, but it makes me excited for the upcoming season nonetheless. So pack your bags and get ready for a truly wild Bachelor Universe vacation.
