Love Island

The British dating reality series Love Island follows a group of contestants living in isolation together as they couple up for love, friendship, or the chance to be the last couple standing and win a cash grand prize. The show was hosted by Caroline Flack, until her death in 2020. There were calls to cancel the show due to a string of Love Island deaths, but it remains on air due to its popularity.

The U.S. version of the series premiered four years after the U.K. version and is filmed in tropical locations such as Fiji and Hawaii. So far, there have been 15 international versions of Love Island.
